2026 Science and Engineering Challenge for YEAR 9 & 10 STUDENTS Cost : $650 (incl GST)
The Science and Engineering Challenge is a nationwide STEM outreach program presented by the University of Newcastle in partnership with Griffith University, Rotary clubs and sponsors. The Challenge runs a range of programs but focuses on inspiring students in year 10 to consider a future career in science and engineering by choosing to study the enabling sciences and mathematics in years 11 and 12. The Gold Coast/South Brisbane Science and Engineering Challenge hosted by Griffith University and local Rotary clubs is excited to offer a unique opportunity for local students to experience a side of science and engineering they may not have encountered before.

32 students from Grade 9 + 10 required per school team

LIMIT of one place per school and are only secured once payment has been received. The event allows 8 schools per day so once this quota is reached, the event is considered SOLD OUT.
