Design and Visual Arts Portfolio Workshops 2025
Queensland College of Art and Design (QCAD) offers the option of portfolio admission. This workshop shows students how to build a creative portfolio in readiness for submitting a portfolio admission.
Come along and see how you can make a portfolio that best represents your uniques creativity and skills.
Participants choose to work in either Design or Visual Arts and by the end of the workshop they will:
· Learn how to present and what to include in a successful Queensland College of Art and Design portfolio
· Complete at least one piece of work for their creative portfolio that could potentially be used in their Queensland College of Art and Design portfolio application
· Meet and work with QCAD Design and Visual Arts and Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art (CAIA) staff to find out if Queensland College of Art and Design is right for you
The Design program has one option for each workshop day. Design portfolio workshops are offered at both the Brisbane City (South Bank) and Gold Coast Campuses in 2025.
The Visual Arts program has 3 study areas (Painting, Photography & Sculpture) being offered across 2 sessions within the workshop day. Pick one combination.
The Visual Arts portfolio workshop is only offered at the Brisbane City (South Bank) Campus.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students are also invited to join a Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art session led by First Nations staff.
