Join the Griffith Mates on a day out to Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast! We will begin the day at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium, where you’ll be able to get up close and personal with your favourite marine animals, and join in on fun exhibits. The Seal Presentation is not to be missed!


You’ll then have some free time over lunchtime to explore the town, dive into the ocean, join the Griffith Mates for ball sports on the beach or grab some lunch from one of the many outlets.

 

We’ll wrap up the day with a Learn to Surf lesson, where you’ll be able to experience the thrill of surfing in a group setting supervised by an expert guide.

 

This ticket includes return coaches from the Brisbane South (Nathan) campus, entry to SEA LIFE aquarium, and your Learn to Surf class.
Food and drinks are NOT included in this daytrip – you are welcome to bring your own, or you will have time to purchase lunch at Mooloolaba.

Refund Policy 

No refunds will be given if you change your mind, do not show up, or cannot attend for any reason. 

 

You are able to transfer your ticket to a fellow current Griffith student only on the condition that you send an email request

to gistudentexperience@griffith.edu.au which includes their student ID number and contact details with your GriffithPay order

ID number before 12pm on Monday 23 March 2026.

Purchasing multiple tickets 

Unfortunately, we do not allow anyone to purchase multiple tickets to Griffith Mates day trips.

You may only purchase one ticket per person at a time.

Please do not buy multiple tickets as there are a limited number of tickets available.
