This online micro-credential will offer an opportunity to Griffith University students (Undergraduate/Masters) from STEM disciplines to identify how their future professions, for which they are currently studying, can help address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Earners, specifically, will learn to identify examples of how SDGs have been embedded in their coursework and propose suggestions to better address them. They will also learn how SDGs are strongly connected to each other, emphasizing the importance of applying "systems thinking" approaches when assessing the impacts of certain actions.

The price is $299 GST Exclusive ($329 GST Inc).

Participants will engage with self-paced online content. To achieve completion and obtain the digital badge, they are expected to:

* Complete online, interactive learning modules.
* Achieve a pass mark in the online quiz.
* Develop a portfolio demonstrating examples of three projects/practical learning activities in which SDGs were addressed.
* Write a short reflection identifying the role of the SDGs for the earner’s future profession.

Entry Requirements:

The course is designed for Griffith University students enrolled in programs with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) focus. Nevertheless, staff or students from other disciplines are also welcome to join.

Please note, your registration for this course is non-refundable. By choosing to proceed with payment you are agreeing to the refund policy of this course. Refunds will not be issued for cancelled registrations.
